Most people know that the North End is the place to go to get the best cannoli in Boston, but it’s also a wonderful place to explore. The neighborhood is bustling with bakeries, restaurants, and bars, but also packed with beautiful, quiet churches. It’s a place where you can walk past an Italian sports bar and come face to face with a shrine to various Saints tucked into a nook in the alley. While I was there, I enjoyed the best chai latte I’ve ever had, as well as some of the most interesting architectural juxtapositions in the city.
