2014-2015 Staff
Rachelle Martin is a WLP major from California. She likes coffee but also naps, which means she makes tough decisions on a daily basis, and should not be underestimated.
|
Sarah Mania is a sophomore WLP major from Chicago. She makes sure to smile at every dog
she sees and eats enough soup annually to float a small boat. |
Raychel Vieira is a Writing, Literature, and Publishing major at Emerson College. She has
perfected the art of winged eyeliner but still can’t figure out how to make a decent cup of coffee. Her favorite things in no particular order are staying up until 4am, baking anything with copious amounts of sugar, and living vicariously through Honey Boo Boo. |
Megan Cathey is a freshman Writing, Literature & Publishing major from sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. She enjoys red lipstick, kombucha, cats, and driving her Volkswagen Beetle named Sasha. She also pretends she's Marina & the Diamonds in her spare time.
|
Rewa Atre is a Jersey-born Indian-American Communication Disorders major who’s super
passionate about judgement-free health education, particularly regarding uncomfortable topics. When she’s not writing, she enjoys making green juice, fangirling about Game of Thrones, and watching cheesy sci-fi horror movies. |
Annie Fell is a sophomore Writing for Film and TV major from the Chicago suburbs. She is a
fan of John Waters movies, dogs with short stubby legs, and all carbohydrates. |
Tim Biddick is a sophomore WLP Major from Seattle, Washington. He's usually off somewhere
thinking about Game of Thrones or practicing a poem out loud to himself. He's pretty sure ghosts are real and also that he's a ghost. |
Delilah Kaufman is a Writing for Film and Television major at Emerson College. Hailing from
New York City, she is a cat enthusiast, addicted to Mad Men, and can fit her whole fist in her mouth. |
Mimi Walker is a junior-year journalism major. Some of her interests include skin care, Turner
Classic Movies, belly-dancing, international cuisine, writing (of course), old re-runs of Whose Line is it Anyway?, and empowering young girls and women. |
Alyssa Capel is a sophomore WLP major. This past summer she basically lived at her local
health club between working there and working out. She enjoys writing, reading, drinking coffee, and exercising her willpower each week as she scoops ice cream for money. |
Sabrina Lieberman is an animation and motion media major at Emerson College. Flying all the
way from Hong Kong every semester, Sabrina is not a fan of planes. She does however love animals, tea, and the internet. |
Brianna Arrighi is a sophomore WLP major who recently explained the concept of a fuck buddy
to her grandma. She enjoys thigh highs and Daniel Radcliffe, but not the idea of Daniel Radcliffe in thigh highs. (Actually, she's more okay with it than she thought). |
Madeline Poage is a Writing, Literature, and Publishing major from New Jersey. She’s a recent
convert to tea drinking and enjoys Disney movies, punk rock, and realistic portrayals of women in the media. |
Belinda Huang is a sophomore WLP student who chose to pursue writing instead of music
because of its relative stability as a career, a choice that has generally been regarded as somewhat optimistic. Her interests include the positive effects of literacy education and sushi, both separately and in conjunction. |
Will Irwin is a Writing for Film and TV major at Emerson College. To the dismay of his peers, romanticism got to Will at a young age on the back of an embarrassing amount of late Middle School nights spent watching romantic comedies on TBS. He fell in love with love a hundred years ago, and their relationship - though sometimes dysfunctional - has been going strong ever since.
|
Chloe B. McAlpin is a Writing, Literature, and Publishing major at Emerson College. Originally from Florida, Chloe enjoys crunchy orange leaves, used bookstores, and Simon & Garfunkel. If she had to pick a favorite animal it would be a Persian cat, and if she had to pick a favorite person it would be Virginia Woolf.
|
Lilly Christopher isn’t used to writing in the third person. She believes cameras will steal your
soul if you even have one in the first place. She’d rather be at a show. |
Julia Roberto is a sophomore Writing, Literature, and Publishing major. She’s low key obsessed
with the Kennedy family and cheesecake. |
Paige Cober is a Writing, Literature and Publishing major who grew up just outside of New
York City, between a prison, train station and a cemetery. Now going to school in Boston, she enjoys iced coffee, sleeping and copious amounts of TV. |
Mia Young is a Freshman WLP Student, from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She grew up in
Jerusalem, Israel, and would have to say her perfect date is April 25th, because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket. |
Christine Lavosky is a Writing, Literature and Publishing Sophomore from Northern New
Jersey. In addition to being a writer for Isis she is the editor-in-chief of a visual art and literature magazine currently in its infancy, The Emerson Eye. In her free moments she loves knitting somewhat lopsided hats and frolicking through The Garden! |
Meaghan McDonough is a sophomore WLP major who spends more time watching TV and
movies than she does actually doing school work. When she manages to leave Emerson's campus, she's most likely exploring Boston, on the hunt for her new favorite restaurant. |

Editors-in-Chief
Willie Burnley Jr is a junior Writing, Literature, and Publishing major. He's fascinated with politics, social justice, big ideas, people that look like big ideas, and anime.
Gabrielle Doucette-Boisse is a sophomore Writing, Literature, and Publishing major. She's an avid tea-drinker, fan of the color black, and watches videos of cats until 2 am almost every day. Talk to her about veganism and she will be your best friend.
