Chinatown is a vibrant and busy neighborhood filled with hidden gems. Walk into Chinatown and you can find a ridiculous variety of Asian foods: Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, and Japanese food lines the narrow, bustling sidewalks. Aside from the huge collection of restaurants to choose from, there are also tiny shops, fruit stands, and well-priced hair salons. The majority of Chinatown’s residents speak Cantonese, and signs are mostly written in Chinese. Juxtaposed with the area's New England style street names and architecture, the area gives off an interesting, unique vibe.
